B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at JKLU aims to create the next generation of computer engineers who will work to address the issues and challenges of the present time through knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration.
This program aims to provide a strong foundation in basic sciences, mathematics, basic engineering, humanities, social sciences, design and management, while laying adequate emphasis on core areas in Computer Science Engineering. Courses on Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithm Design, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Theory of Computation, Computer Networks, Database Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computer Organisation and Architecture form an integral part of the course curriculum.
B.Tech. in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence program at JKLU is designed to enable students to choose industry careers that involve problem solving using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning technologies.
This program aims to provide a strong foundation in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. Along with courses in basic computer science, the students will be exposed to cutting- edge AI technologies such as Large Language Models (ChatGPT, BARD, LLAMA), Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning.
B.Tech. in Computer and Communication Engineering at JKLU aims to create the next generation engineers who will have core competencies in computational technologies for communication engineering.
The field of Computer and Communication Engineering is evolving at accelerated pace with convergence of computers and communication systems. This requires engineers to have skills in software programming as well as capability to update in cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, 5G and Wireless technologies.
This program aims to provide a strong foundation in basic science and liberal arts, Computer and Communication engineering, design and management, while providing flexibility for Discipline/ Interdisciplinary Specialization.
The BCA program at JKLU offers hands-on learning in computer applications with a cross-disciplinary curriculum. Core courses cover contemporary technologies, and students can earn certifications from Red Hat, Cisco, ORACLE, and IBM.
Project-driven internships provide real-world experience, fostering careers in data analytics, cloud computing, cyber security, and robotic process automation. Mentorship from industry leaders, workshops, and internships enhance learning. Select students can study abroad for one semester.
